01Overview

What Stumpes Is

Stumpes is a two part system. A token and a collection of 1,000 NFTs, launched at the same moment, built to feed each other.

The NFTs are called Stumpes. Each one is a worker. Workers hold a share of every fee the protocol collects, and they pay out every 30 minutes, continuously, for as long as the protocol generates volume.

The token is the engine. Trading activity generates creator fees. Those fees flow into the reward pool. The reward pool pays the workers.

There is no team allocation. There is no presale. Every Stumpe in existence was minted by a member of the public at the price the market set at that moment.

The Core Loop

  1. The token trades. Creator fees accumulate.
  2. Fees flow to the reward pool.
  3. The reward pool distributes to Stumpe holders every 30 minutes, pro rata.
  4. A portion of fees buys Stumpes off the open market.
  5. Those swept Stumpes become prizes in the Spin.
  6. Players burn tokens to enter the Spin, reducing token supply.

Every part of the system pushes into the next one.

02The Mint

Ratchet Pricing

The mint price starts at $2.00 and rises with the token's market cap. For every $15,000 the market cap climbs, the mint price increases by $1.00.

Market cap Mint price
Launch$2.00
$15,000$3.00
$30,000$4.00
$75,000$7.00
$150,000$12.00
$285,000 and above$20.00

The price caps at $20.00 and does not rise beyond it.

The price never decreases. If the market cap falls, the mint price holds at its highest achieved level. There is no waiting for a dip. The only direction the entry cost moves is up.

Wallet Limit

Ten Stumpes maximum per wallet during the mint. This means a minimum of 100 unique participants is required for the collection to sell out.

The cap applies to minting only. There is no limit on how many Stumpes a wallet can acquire on the secondary market after mint.

The 24 Hour Window

The mint runs for exactly 24 hours from launch. At the close of that window, every unminted Stumpe is permanently burned.

This is not a soft deadline. It is enforced at the contract level and the exact timestamp is published before launch.

Burning unminted supply is not a loss. It is a benefit to everyone holding. Rewards are distributed pro rata across the Stumpes that exist, so a smaller collection means a larger share for every holder. If 400 Stumpes mint and 600 burn, each surviving Stumpe holds 1/400th of every distribution instead of 1/1000th. That is a 2.5x increase in earning weight, permanently.

Early Mint Boost

Stumpes minted within the first 20 minutes of launch carry a 1.25x earning weight.

A boosted Stumpe counts as 1.25 shares in every distribution instead of 1.00, for as long as the original minter holds it.

Three conditions apply:

Mint only. The boost is granted at mint. It cannot be acquired any other way. Buying a boosted Stumpe on the secondary market does not transfer the boost.

Non transferable. The boost is tied to the minting wallet. If a boosted Stumpe is sold, transferred, or moved to another wallet, the boost is permanently removed and the Stumpe reverts to standard 1.00 weight. It cannot be restored, including by returning it to the original wallet.

Closed after 20 minutes. The window shuts 20 minutes after launch and cannot be reopened.

Because boosts burn off as boosted Stumpes change hands, total weighted supply falls over time. Every boost that expires marginally increases the share held by everyone else.

Price Feed

Mint price is read from a live market cap feed and updates continuously.

In the event of a null read, the last valid price holds until the feed resumes. Because the price only ever moves upward, this can never disadvantage a minter.

Where Mint Proceeds Go

95% of all mint revenue is deposited directly into the reward pool.

5% is allocated to development and ongoing operation of the protocol.

The split is enforced in the contract and executes automatically. It is not a manual process and cannot be adjusted after deployment.

03Workers and Yield

How Earning Works

Every Stumpe is a worker. Workers earn a share of the reward pool, distributed every 30 minutes.

The share is pro rata. One Stumpe out of 1,000 earns one thousandth of each distribution. Ten Stumpes earn one hundredth. The maths is simple division, and it is the same for everyone.

Boosted Stumpes count as 1.25 shares rather than 1.00.

Formula:

Your payout = (Your weighted shares / Total weighted shares) × Cycle distribution

Where weighted shares equals your standard Stumpes plus 1.25 times your boosted Stumpes.

Why Early Matters

Yield is shared. The fewer Stumpes in existence, the larger every holder's slice.

During the mint window, supply climbs from zero toward 1,000. Early holders are dividing the pool among a handful of workers. Later holders are dividing it among hundreds.

This is not a promotional claim. It is what pro rata distribution does.

Stumpes in circulation Share per Stumpe
502.00%
1001.00%
2500.40%
5000.20%
1,0000.10%

The yield rate at any given moment is displayed live and updates every cycle. It will be high at launch and will fall as supply mints out. Anyone minting can see exactly what they are buying into.

Time Weighted Earning

Earning is measured by how long you hold, second by second, not by whether you happen to hold at a particular moment.

The alternative would be a single point in time check at the close of each cycle. That approach is trivially exploitable: buy a Stumpe seconds before the cycle ends, collect a full cycle payout, sell immediately. Time weighting removes that entirely.

Your weight in any cycle is your holding duration divided by the full cycle length.

Cycle weight = (Seconds held / 1,800) × Stumpe weight

Where Stumpe weight is 1.00 standard or 1.25 boosted.

Worked examples, single standard Stumpe, 30 minute cycle:

Held for Cycle weight Share of a full holder's payout
30 minutes1.000100%
15 minutes0.50050%
10 minutes0.33333%
1 minute0.0333.3%
10 seconds0.0060.6%

Someone holding for 10 minutes earns exactly one third of what a full cycle holder earns. Someone holding for 10 seconds earns roughly six thousandths. Both are paid, both are paid fairly, and neither can extract more than the time they put in.

Partial cycles are the normal case, not an edge case. Buying mid cycle earns from the second of purchase. Selling mid cycle earns up to the second of sale. Nothing is rounded away and no holding period is too short to count.

There is no timing edge in this system. Duration is the only variable you control.

Claiming

Rewards accumulate to your wallet and can be claimed at any time. There is no deadline, no expiry timer, and no penalty for letting them build up. Unclaimed rewards sit in your balance indefinitely for as long as you hold.

Rewards are forfeited on exit. If you dispose of your entire Stumpe holding while rewards are unclaimed, those rewards return to the reward pool and are redistributed to remaining holders.

Claim before you sell. This is the single most important thing to know about using the protocol. Selling your last Stumpe with an unclaimed balance means losing that balance.

Partial sales do not trigger forfeiture. Holding five Stumpes and selling two keeps your full accrued balance intact. Forfeiture applies only when your holding reaches zero.

The interface warns before any transaction that would take you to zero with rewards outstanding, and your unclaimed balance is displayed at all times.

Treasury Holdings

Stumpes held in the protocol treasury, including every Stumpe acquired through the sweep, do not earn yield.

They are excluded from the weighted share calculation entirely. The protocol does not pay itself. Every unit of the reward pool goes to holders.

Yield Is Variable

The reward pool is funded by fees. Fees depend on trading volume. Volume varies.

There is no fixed rate, no promised return, and no guaranteed minimum. A high yield during launch does not indicate a sustained yield. Cycles with no volume will distribute nothing.

The reward pool balance, the inflow per cycle, and the current yield rate are all published live so holders can see the actual state of the system at any time rather than relying on projections.

04The Sweep

What It Does

A portion of collected fees is used to buy Stumpes off the open market at the floor.

15% of all collected fees are allocated to the sweep.

Every Stumpe acquired this way is removed from circulation and moved into the treasury, where it earns nothing and becomes a prize in the Spin.

The sweep provides a persistent bid under the floor price, funded by protocol activity rather than by anyone's discretion.

Timing

The sweep fires at completely random intervals. There is no schedule, no fixed frequency, no published range, and no pattern to observe.

It may fire twice within an hour. It may not fire for several. Neither outcome indicates anything about when the next one lands.

This is intentional. A predictable buy is a farmable buy. Full randomisation means no listing can be positioned to guarantee a sale into the sweep.

Execution is automated. The sweep is triggered by protocol logic rather than by manual decision, and no discretion is applied to when it runs or what it takes.

Eligibility Rules

Minimum listing age. A listing must have been active for at least 20 minutes to be eligible. Listings created inside that window are skipped entirely, which blocks the list, sell, relist loop.

Randomised selection. Eligible listings are selected with weighting toward the lowest priced, but selection is not deterministic. The cheapest eligible listing is not guaranteed to be taken.

One per wallet per sweep. A single wallet cannot sell more than one Stumpe into any individual sweep, regardless of how many eligible listings it holds.

Exact sweep parameters, including interval ranges and selection weighting, are not published. The rules above define the behaviour. The specific values do not need to be public to be fair, and publishing them only helps people game the system.

05The Spin

How It Works

Players submit 30,000 tokens for a single spin. Those tokens are burned, permanently removed from supply.

A spin draws from the prize pool, which is stocked entirely by Stumpes acquired through the sweep.

Prize Pool

The prize pool contains only swept Stumpes. Nothing is minted for it and nothing is added from reserves, because there are no reserves.

When the prize pool is empty, the Spin is disabled. No spins can be entered and no tokens can be burned until the next sweep restocks it.

This applies at launch. Before the first sweep completes, the Spin is offline. It comes online the moment there is something real to win.

Prize pool contents are displayed live, so anyone entering can see exactly what is available before committing tokens.

Odds

Odds are random and depend on what is in the prize pool at the moment you spin.

Every Stumpe held in the pool is an equally possible outcome. A pool holding three Stumpes and a pool holding twenty produce different odds, and the pool changes constantly as sweeps add to it and spins draw from it.

Nothing about a spin is weighted by wallet, by spend history, or by how many times you have played. Every entry faces the same pool on the same terms as every other entry made at that moment.

Current pool contents are displayed before entry so you can see exactly what is in play.

The Burn

Every spin burns 30,000 tokens. There is no cap on spins and no cap on total burn.

The Spin is the only mechanism in the protocol that permanently reduces token supply, and it is funded entirely by player choice.

06Contracts and Transparency

Verification

All contract addresses are published at launch and verified on the relevant explorer. Source code is public and readable.

Fee Split

The 95/5 split between reward pool and development is written into the contract and executes automatically on every mint. It is not a manual transfer and it cannot be changed after deployment.

Team Allocation

There is no team allocation. Zero Stumpes are reserved, airdropped, or held by the team at launch.

Every Stumpe in existence was minted publicly at the prevailing price by a member of the public.

Upgradeability

The protocol is deployed with fixed parameters. Mint pricing, supply, wallet caps, fee splits, distribution logic, and sweep rules cannot be altered after launch.

The single exception is the early mint boost multiplier, which is configurable at deployment and locks permanently once the 20 minute boost window closes.

Addresses

The following are published at launch:

  • Token contract
  • NFT contract
  • Reward pool address
  • Treasury address (sweep holdings)
  • Burn address

Every one of these is publicly viewable. Balances, inflows, and outflows can be independently verified at any time without relying on the dashboard or on anything stated here.

Dashboard

A public dashboard displays:

  • Reward pool balance, live
  • Fee inflow per cycle
  • Total distributed to date
  • Current yield per Stumpe
  • Stumpes minted and remaining
  • Current mint price and next price threshold
  • Prize pool contents
  • Total tokens burned via the Spin
07Risk

Read this section.

Yield is variable and may be zero. Rewards are funded entirely by trading fees. Fees depend on volume. Volume is not guaranteed and can stop. Any yield figure displayed reflects current conditions only and is not a projection, a promise, or a forecast.

Early yield rates are not sustainable rates. Yield is high when few Stumpes exist and falls as supply mints out. High figures during launch reflect small supply, not high revenue, and will not persist.

Mint price only rises. Minting later costs more for an identical asset with identical earning weight. Later entrants pay more and, if fully minted, share the pool with more holders. This is disclosed openly and is a factor to weigh before minting.

No secondary market guarantee. There is no assurance that Stumpes can be resold, or resold at any particular price. The sweep provides a bid but is funded by fees and is not a redemption mechanism, a buyback promise, or a floor guarantee.

Rewards are forfeited on full exit. Disposing of your entire holding with an unclaimed balance returns that balance to the reward pool. Claim before selling your last Stumpe.

The boost does not survive transfer. Selling or moving a boosted Stumpe removes the boost permanently. It cannot be restored by any means, including returning the Stumpe to the original wallet.

Spin outcomes are random. Odds vary with prize pool contents and are not fixed or guaranteed. Tokens submitted to a spin are burned regardless of outcome and cannot be recovered.

The Spin can be offline. When the prize pool is empty the Spin is disabled. There is no guaranteed availability.

Unminted supply is burned. At the close of the 24 hour window, unminted Stumpes are destroyed permanently. The collection may never reach 1,000.

This is not an investment. Stumpes are not securities, shares, or financial instruments. They do not represent equity, debt, or a claim on any entity. There is no promise of profit and no expectation of returns from the efforts of others should be inferred.

Smart contract risk. Contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. Deployed code is final and cannot be patched. Participants accept this risk in full.

Regulatory risk. Digital asset regulation varies by jurisdiction and continues to change. Participants are responsible for determining whether participation is lawful where they live.

Participate only with funds you can afford to lose entirely.
